In no particular order I give you my top, not 5 but just some of the albums that caught my eye this past year, albums of 2009. Music taste differ for person to person but mine is a bit diverse but I kept it mostly hip hop with a few exceptions. Play the tracks and read the reviews. Enjoy!

Supreme has joined together with the John Coltrane Foundation to give tribute to the American music icon. This is the second collaboration with an American Jazz icon, the first being Miles Davis. This collection will feature a group of t-shirts consisting of three graphics in various color ways. The collection will drop on in-store and webstore on October 22nd and available in Japan on October 24th. Check for the rest of the collection after the jump.

DOM KENNEDY presents his new video “Of All Time” featuring BJ The Chicago Kid. This video is shot in downtown Los Angeles giving it that great tone to accompany the song. Be sure to check out Dom Kennedy in San Diego August 18th as he opens for The Cool Kids and The Clipse.

Crooks & Castles has teamed up with hip-hop artist Fabolous in honor of his new album “Loso’s Way”. The collaboration comes in the form of a t-shirt with a front and back graphic print. The record is set to drop on July 28th and the t-shirt will be available exclusively at the Los Angeles & New York screenings. Good luck trying to get your hands on these as they will be very limited.
