Being a fan of what Solebox has done with New Balance the samples, that where made previous to the pair released back in August of ‘09, are very appealing to the eyes. The 1500 model comes in 3 color ways but the White with Maroon does it for me. The 670 comes in a White color way as well, although I’m not a fan of this model its still very appealing. We can only hope that these sampels will make their ways over to the public real soon. Check below for more photos.

I’m yet to own a pair of Gourmet’s but this upcoming seasons collection is looking very good and looked way better in person at the Agenda trade show. Although those Pepsi x Gourmet sneaker was a complete turn off the Fall collection offers a lot of promise.
Sole Collector just broke the news that the Jordan AJKO will be making a return early this summer. If you aren’t familiar with this sneaker lets just say its a true OG Jordan shoe. I’ll be doing small recaps of my top 5 of 2009. I’ll start off with sneakers of course.
5) RESN Nike SB Dunk Hi- This highly anticipated shoe finally dropped at the end of this year. This is possibly my last Nike SB pick up ever or till something new catches my eye. The distressed denim was a new twist on the original samples that had been seen years before but it still had that appeal.
4) Converse x UNDFTD Poorman’s Weapon- Starting off the year right with this drop UNDFTD dropped these about the first week of January. I must say that I was never a fan of weapons but the combination between a classic Chuck Taylor and a Weapon was perfect. The Black pair, which released a couple months prior to the army green where winners in my book.
3) Solebox x New Balance 1500 Pack- I know I know these should be out of the question considering they where exclusive to Solebox out in Berlin but come on these are undeniably top contenders. The simplicity of color on a running shoe is what makes this sneaker great. Big ups to whoever got a hold of these. I know I’m still looking for a pair.
2) Supreme x Nike SB Bruin- What would my picks be with out the Supreme bruins. The line around the block at Supreme LA should say enough for this sneaker. No specific color way choice for me on this one they are all a great pick up.
1) Nike Air Yeezy- The collaboration with one of our decades most outspoken Hip-Hop artist had everyone camping out for weeks on end. The Black/Pink color way is the winner and top sneaker of 2009. No matter how bulky or how bright these sneakers maybe to some to it brings in lot of elements from a lot of different sneakers which makes it the best overall.
Lets see what 2010 has in store for sneakers.
Playing off a classic silhouette, the Bape Crepes are easily one of the best shoes produced by this brand. They come in a Orange/Brown colorway, Navy colorway, and Black/Grey colorway each with a cream sole. These shoes have been a long time favorite of mine and continue to be. DVS is gearing up to drop a Torey Pudwill sneaker for Spring 2010. All we can see from this photos is a Black base shoe with a White mid-sole and Purple/Orange trim on the sneaker. No word on a specific drop date but stay posted for more info on this sneaker as its made avaliable.
Karmaloop will be dropping an exclusive Yellow patent leather Supra Skytop this Saturday August 5th, 2009 at 12:00 pm EST time on their online shop. These can not be bought any where else but Karmaloop so be sure to set your alarms, set your phones, tell your mother to wake you up but just be sure to cop these as they will not be available anywhere else but Karmaloop.
Frehjive has been pushing the envelope for a long time now and they have done everything from t-shirts to cut & sew so its only logical for the next step to be sneakers. The sneakers are a mid top with a leather upper with a white sole. No word on a drop date but watch for these to drop soon.

This Saturday marks the debut of LA’s biggest footwear convention, UNLACED. The event takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center (West Hall Meeting Room 502 A & B) with giveaways taking place all day long provided by various brands. As well as performances by Casey Veggies, Big Sean and more. See below for further details.
